There was a country song that said, “There’s a difference between living and living well”. The same applies to our actions. Cain brought an offering to God and the Bible says, “But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect”. Cain’s countenance fell and he was wroth (furious). God asked him why his countenance had fallen and why he was wroth. God’s answer was, “if thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?” There is a difference between “doing” and “doing well”.
