What is the Gospel? The Gospel means good news, or literally “good angel”. The Gospel is not the reporting of the news, it IS the good news. The preaching of the Gospel is just the reporting of the news. May we all put the emphasis on the Gospel and what it accomplished as the focal point of the preaching, not the other way around.
