There is no condition that typifies sin that affects us spiritually as the condition of leprosy affects the body. Leprosy affects the infected physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. There was no relief from it grip, as it’s victims lived long in banishment and shame among other lepers. It is a loathsome condition from which death does not come quickly and there is no cure, aside from the healing of God.
