When Jesus came into this world the first time, he came in the likeness of sinful flesh. He looked no different than you or I. His beginnings were very meager. As an infant, he was laid in a manger. King Herod made an attempt on his life right away. As an adult, he was He was despised and rejected by men. The religious people did all they could do to get rid of him. They condemned him unjustly and with wicked hands crucified him. As a sheep led to the slaughter, he opened not his mouth. This was the FIRST TIME. The Second time Jesus appears will not be with meekness and lowliness, but in splendor and glory. His vesture is dipped in blood and the name on his thigh is written, “King of Kings and Lord of Lords”.
