Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life”. Peter affirmed to the scoffers after the healing of the crippled beggar at the gate Beautiful, “There is no other name by which we must be saved”. Jesus is the way to Heaven. No other “system” is sufficient. Jesus did not go part of the way, and wait for us to finish the way. He is not waiting halfway in the way waiting for us to reach him. Jesus is the way. Belief is not the way. Faith is not the way. The preaching of the gospel is not the way. Jesus is the way.
