This concept is difficult for most of us to adhere to, however the principle is taught by Jesus, Paul and Peter. Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar”. Paul said, “Let every soul be subject to the higher powers” and Peter said, “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man.” This may be a hard pill for us to swallow, and there are some considerations to examine. I pray that this sermon will help all of us put things into perspective. May God give us strength and wisdom.
