Adoption – To take one that is not a direct product of your own to give him a name, make him one of your heirs, care for him, be legally responsible for him, and finally take him into your home. What a wonderful thing! We consider those among us who adopt as the most benevolent of human beings. But when the Bible speaks of God’s adopting a people, it makes people mad! Why is that?
