Amen. It is one of the most recognized words across the world. It is not bound by countries, cultures, languages, or and socio-economic status. Amen essentially means “firm” or “truth”. When one uses “Amen” they are declaring that they affirm what is said, in effect saying, “so be it” or “let it be done”. “Amen” is a firm declaration that you are both a partaker in, and bound by the oath. Twenty four of the twenty seven books of the New Testament end with the word “Amen”. What do you say “Amen” to?
