Webster 1828 dictionary defines a promise as: A promise is a binding declaration made by one to another.  It binds the one who made it to do, or withhold, the act that was promised.  This declaration also gives the one to whom it was made a right to expect  – and the assurance of –  the performance or withholding of the act promised. 

We all have made promises and not been able to fulfil them, but God’s character, His faithfulness, assures us of the performance of His promises. But what are His promises?

All promises are conditional.  There are some promises that God made that were conditional upon man’s faithfulness and performance.  And there were some promises that God made in which HE met all the conditions. What are these promises?
