The serpent of brass was set on a pole to heal God’s children as a result of being bitten by the fiery serpents. God sent the serpents because His people murmured and complained and spoke against God and Moses. God was gracious to them and they still complained. They had seen His wonderful power in delivering them time and again, yet they still complained. God wounded His people, but he also provided the cure. What is our wound and what is the cure today?
