In this sermon, Elder Blair concluded the series, “Brethren, we would not have you ignorant…”. For us to understand the scriptures that speak of hope, we must understand the bible definition of hope. It is an earnest expectation. Today’s usage of the word is “a belief that something good will happen with little assurance that it will”. Our hope rests in the finished work of Jesus Christ and His resurrection as the foundation and certainty of our expectation (hope) of being with Him. May we sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.
