There are countless ways that the Spirit of God helps us. One of the most important ways of how the Spirit helps us is in our prayer life. He is an intercessor for us. He not only takes our petitions to God, but also ministers to us the answer and many times, lays a prayer on our heart to pray. Oftentimes, we just groan in prayer. There are no words for us to pray. The Spirit interprets these groanings to God on our behalf.
