The Church has been given gifts from God to edify the Church, for the work of the ministry, and for the perfecting of the saints. All of the church does not possess these gifts, but are for their use. Each Church member has been given individual gifts for the edification of itself. We can learn much about how we develop these gifts in looking at the examples that the scriptures teach us about the body. The development of Children and the training that parents give them are a parallel of how to develop these gifts in the church.
