Abram is mentioned in the OT 50 times and Abraham is mentioned 230 times, in both the OT and NT. He is called “Faithful Abraham” Galatians 3:9, “The Father of us all” Romans 4:16, and “the Friend of God” James 2:23. Since Abraham is so prominent a figure in both the OT and NT, it is imperative that we find out more about this “friend of God”.
