Dearly Beloved, God is the One who instituted marriage for the purpose of giving us a picture of Christ’s relationship with His Bride. Pictures are not the real thing, yet marriage as was instituted by God is the closest and most intimate relationship that could resemble the relationship between Christ and His Bride. May we meditate on and practice daily to resemble that relationship in our own marriages, and as part of His Bride, to act like His Bride.
