Hallelujah! There is no more need for a sacrifice to be offered to pay for our sin debt! Jesus hath by one offering he has perfected forever those that are sanctified. He entered into the Holy Place once having obtained eternal redemption for us! Hallelujah! But that declaration is a two-edged sword. It cuts both ways. If we sin willfully, knowing the truth of His sacrifice, we cannot crucify the Son of God afresh. Christ’s sacrifice is over. It has been offered and accepted by God. If we sin willfully, our actions declare that we are not regarding His sacrifice. Our actions declare that we are counting the blood of His covenant an unholy thing, and there remains a fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation. May we all live each day without sinning willfully. It is an act of rebellion against God. It does despite to the Spirit of Grace.
