The Bible has much to say about salt. It is very useful, beneficial and valuable. It is a preservative and keeps meat from becoming rotten by bacteria. It keeps the flies away. Just as salt is to meat, Jesus says in Matthew chapter 5 (and other places) of the children of the Kingdom, “Ye are the salt of the Earth”. How salty are you?
