17 times in the OT and NT, God declared Himself, or others declared that God was the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Over 200 times, various forms of this appear, sometimes as “the God of Israel” and “The God of your fathers”. But the Spirit never inspired any of the writers to refer God as the God of any other specific men. What does this mean?
